Port Townsend Writer's Conference
I taught a workshop on "Informal and Formal Structures" in poems. We spent an afternoon looking at formal poems and contemporary free verse poems and examining how free verse poems make their own structures in order to make form support meaningful content in poems.

Floating Bridge Press reading on Thursday, May 6, 8:00 pm at the 4Culture Gallery in Seattle. I will be one of four readers.

Skagit River Poetry Festival May 20-22
I will read on Friday as a part of "Valley Voices" panel. I recommend attending the whole festival as it is one of the largest and most celebrated gatherings of poets in the country.
